Our Pupil Forum

The LIFT OFF Pupil Forum is BRILLIANT!Lone custard cream

It's where we bring pupils, students and members of the LIFT OFF team together. We talk about new developments in the team. We share views and opinions. We support the work of LIFT OFF. And we eat custard creams. A lot of custard creams.

The Forum meets twice a year - usually in the school holidays. Anyone who is a core pupil can join in. There are usually loads of student volunteers there too.

Here are a few bits and pieces that pupils told us about being part of the LIFT OFF Pupil Forum:

"I came along to the pupil forum becasue I wanted to help improve the LIFT OFF experience and there was free food." (that'll be those custard creams, then!)

"I wanted to see old friends and help with the future of LIFT OFF."

"I have become a more confident speaker through being part of the LIFT OFF Pupil Forum."Pupil Forum member October 2012

"We learned about changes happening in LIFT OFF, had a laugh and met new people."

"At the Pupil Forum I ate six sandwiches, two biscuits, a muffin, a kiwi fruit, a handful of crisps and a grape." (good to know :)

"My favourite thing about LIFT OFF is the fun and friendly atmosphere at all the workshops, meetings and the Pupil Forum."

"The student volunteers are a really good laugh and they come along to help with discussions and to give you advice about university and help answer any of your questions."

So there you have it. Lots of fun, lots of chat, lots of useful stuff. And lots of food-based banter. It's the LIFT OFF way!
