LIFT OFF Senior Student Volunteers
Senior Student volunteers are chosen annually by the team as those who have really gone that extra mile in their work with us. There are only ever a small handful of Senior Students at a time, who are asked to take on a little extra responsibility including helping us out at volunteering fairs and student training sessions. They are also automatically entitled to work on LO2S, and are eligilble for further training opportunities. Asking someone to become a Senior Student is our way of saying thank you for all their hard work (although it doesn't mean we don't appreciate the hard work and efforts of all our students!)

Rachael - Senior Student Volunteer
Hi, I’m a Social Anthropology student at the University of St Andrews and to repeat what I say in pretty much every LIFT OFF workshop and event I attend - "Don’t worry if you have no idea what that is, no one ever does!". I have been volunteering with LIFT OFF since my first year of university after meeting some of the team at a volunteer fayre.

Rebecca - Senior Student Volunteer
Hi I’m Rebecca and I’m currently a 3rd year Zoology student at the University of Dundee. I joined LIFT OFF at a volunteering fair over a year ago now. I’ve helped at various school workshops, GBLOC, pupil forum and at the summer residential; LO2S and have really enjoyed it.
