Overview
Our S4 Campus Event aims to provide Core Pupils with the opportunity to experience a Higher Education Institution (HEI). We hope to give pupils an insight into the different teaching styles within higher education and help them become more comfortable on an HEI campus.
The Campus Event will also support pupils to learn more about the wide variety of courses available at university, as well as the different pathways they can take to access them.
The Campus Event takes place during the school day and is supported by school staff. Our Campus Events are split into two different days – one for Fife schools and the other for Dundee and Angus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be back in time for the end of school?
Yes. We aim to get you back to your school before the end of last period so that you can still get your normal mode of transport home.
Is this a free event?
Yes! LIFT OFF will cover the cost of travel to and from the event and provide lunch. You will incur no costs.
What do I bring?
We do not expect you to bring anything. LIFT OFF and the HEI will provide any materials needed for workshops.
What should I wear?
As this event takes place during school hours, you must wear your school uniform. We encourage you to bring a waterproof jacket with a hood as we take a campus tour and be outside!
I am unsure my school is attending
We aim to have all our S4 Core Pupils at the Campus Event. However, sometimes your school may not be able to attend due to other commitments. Therefore, if you are unsure please ask your LIFT OFF contact teacher. If your school is attending but you are unable to, please let us know via email (lift.off@abertay.ac.uk).
