After a delivery year like no other, LIFT OFF Learning Skills (LOLS) 2021 is complete!
LOLS is the credit-rated element of the LIFT OFF Programme. S5 pupils have the chance to gain some critical skills needed to succeed in HE, including academic writing, referencing and group work.
Pupils from 15 partner schools attended the workshops delivered virtually over the Easter break and completed a range of assessment criteria, including a group presentation about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on youth mental health.
The LIFT OFF Team were blown away by the effort put into the presentations and reflective learning logs and a whopping 95% of pupils passed the course gaining a SCQF Level 6 qualification for their efforts.
